Green & Deadly Things:

I got this book for my sci-fi/fantasy book club back in June, but due to my trip to New York I missed the book club and didn't end up reading the book until now.

The book was a mostly enjoyable fantasy tale whose setup actually reminded me some of the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson, though without quite the depth that Sanderson adds to his books. But for this, the depth isn't needed and doesn't subtract from the story.

The book had some good twists and turns with an ending that felt satisfying. I probably could've dealt without some the romance parts of the story, but still enjoyed the book overall.
