Calvinball Jurisprudence
Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson had a damning dissent in a recent ruling in the NIH v American Public Health Association case.
This is Calvinball jurisprudence with a twist. Calvinball has only one rule: There are no fixed rules. We seem to have two: that one, and this Administration always wins.
As a Calvin & Hobbes fan, I'm amused that it's made its way into a SCOTUS ruling. At the same time I'm horrified due to it's meaning with regards to the rule of law here in America.
