One thing you might have recently noticed is there is now a new header option called “Notes” on my site. I saw Jim Nielsen’s notes page and liked the idea so I decided to implement my own version.

You might have noticed some changes to the site. That’s expected as it is now running on 11ty.

I think at this point, my plan is to rebuild my blog with Eleventy. Playing around with it I feel like it’s the simplest tool to do what I need. I still have a lot to learn with it, but I’m hoping that it will be the platform everything I’ve read says it is.

You might have noticed that I added a new section to my page called “Book Notes”, and RSS subscribers might have noticed the same thing. Inspired by a Mastodon post by Matthias Ott, I decided to add something more than quick notes on the books I read.

Over the course of the last month or so, I’ve been tweaking the design of my site. You might have noticed the changes to the look and the feel.

I just moved my reading logs into their own page and unfortunately I'm dealing with a few side effects caused by it.
