I remember playing this game as a kid. They did a fantastic job on the remake keeping all the good parts. The gameplay is fun as it was before and a different kind of Mario story.

The story was phenomenal. Gameplay was mostly fun, but sometimes incredibly frustrating.

Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart

This was my first Ratchet & Clank game and I enjoyed it. It was fast paced and enjoyable. Some of the battles felt a little repetitive but not too bad.

Mass Effect 3

I enjoyed the gameplay and they tied up the story pretty well. Ending was fitting, but partially disappointing at the same time. Although that could be my investment in the story and what I hoped would happen.

The game grew on me. Initially I thought I liked the original better, but I think that’s changed. This game had some good fights and better character building.

Horizon Zero Dawn

I really enjoyed this game. I thought the combat mechanics were a lot of fun, the story drew me in, and the soundtrack was phenomenal. I’m considering going back in and trying to complete more of the side quests and other parts I might have missed.

I had given up on this a while back, but I came back and am glad I did. The game was fun and had a good story. I wish it was more Jedi Knight than Dark Souls, but alas I guess those days are past.

WoW: Classic

I spent so much time on this in my mid 20s, and now in my late 30s, I'm definitely enjoying it again

Star Wars: Battlefront II

I still come back to this from time to time. It's a fun multiplayer game.

Halo Infinite: Multiplayer

It’s unfair to compare it to Halo 3 since that felt like the gold standard to me, but Infinite multiplayers is definitely a lot of fun.

This game had a lot of promise. I enjoyed it, but the story seemed a little convoluted and while fun, the battles got a little repetetive. The lack of local co-op sucks.

The story for this one was a little confusing and overly-complicated. The battles were definitely Halo though. The lack of local co-op sucks.

This was definitely the best 343 Halo game. The story was well done and was a good sequel to the Bungie trilogy.

Halo 3: ODST

I never finished this game when it came out. I entded up finally beating it for my pre-Infinite playthrough and definitely enjoyed it. The move away from Master Chief was an alternate view.

I spent so much time with the multiplayer, it made me forget how good the story was in finishing up the trilogy.

I may or may not have stayed up for the midnight launch of this...A great follow-up to the original Halo and my first Xbox Live experience with a fantastic multiplayer.

This game was fantastic. I enjoyed the story and the multiplayer was top-notch.

The final Bungie Halo game was phenomenal. Brought back a lot of the magic of the first Halo game.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Another good Uncharted game focused on some of the side characters from the first four games.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

A good end to the series and story. Only negative was that the story seemed to be a little drawn out.

Another fantastic Uncharted game, this one without the quick time events.

I love this series. The gameplay was fun and fantastic with a great story.

Dragon Age: Origins

I need to get back to this. I kept getting stuck in parts of the game and got overly frustrated by it.

Borderlands 3

The game had some fun parts, but didn't seem to have the same magic as Borderlands 1 or 2.

Skyrim

I've never gotten a chance to finish this (sooooo many side quests) despite pouring hundreds of hours into it. Love the game.

This is definitely one of my absolute favorite real time strategy games. I loved the mechanics of the game and poured hours into games both against the computer and friends.

I've certainly played more than this, but I figured I'd update this list with some of my thoughts for the video games I've played and am currently playing.
