I try to keep myself informed and apprised about what is going on in the world. I feel it’s important to be aware of the news and whatnot. The downside of this is that it oftentimes leaves me stressed out, angry, and anxious about the state of the world. Lately I’ve been struggling with not devolving into a state of perpetual despair.

One of the simplest things developers and people can do with regards to accessibility is to make sure that every image has corresponding alt text to go along with it to help describe the image to those who are visibly-impaired.

I’ve been a fan of Frank Turner since I first heard his album
England Keep My Bones back in 2010. He’s an English folk/punk songwriter and his live shows and his albums have thus far been phenomenal. A little over a week ago on May 3rd, Frank Turner released his latest album
Undefeated.

April was a busy month. We celebrated my wife's birthday with a trip to Cape May, spent time with family, and my next hockey season started up.
