Week Notes forApril 12 - 18 (#95)

A mostly uneventful week, but too damned hot for April.

It's Always Something

This week in the adventures of home ownership is our oven. I turned it on to pre-heat for roasting a pork tenderloin and the element sparked. I'm not sure if it was a one-time thing or not, but now we have to monitor it closely if and when we use it. We are getting a new element to replace it, but there's always something going on needing replacement.

Too Hot in April

It touched 90ºF (32ºC) here this week. I'm sorry, that's July and August weather, not mid-April. I do not like it and I'm glad it's cooled off some. I want spring-time weather, not summer just yet.

Started Work on My Photography Site

I set it as a goal this year and I've started laying out the pages. It's still early on, but I'm liking this initial look and feel for it.

Lots of Hockey

The I-League is coming up on its final week, but the Bombers started their season. We played Sunday and Thursday nights, winning 7-1 & 6-4 respectively. Starting out the season 2-0. This I-League season hasn't been our best, we're 3-5-1 and will be playing for pride. I'm looking forward to more hockey.
