Week Notes forSeptember 27 - October 3 (#118)
It was a week with a fair amount of hockey, but otherwise quiet. I can't believe it's already October.
Hockey
The schedule for men's league this season is weird. It feels very front-loaded. It's an 18 game schedule running September - April, and we're already at 5 games played. The two teams I play on played Sunday, Monday, and Friday. Sunday and Monday were tough losses, but Friday was a win (and sort of a loss as the two teams I play on faced each other). I was able to get some exercise and have some fun.
Back into World of Warcraft
I had been distracted by other tasks, but with the release of WoW: Forever coming out next month, I decided to hop back on. I'm enjoying the classic version of the game and am looking forward to Forever.
Writing
I set a goal for September to write 500 or more words towards my novel. I was able to achieve that goal, and while I have re-focused some of my time towards other endeavors such as my personal site update, I do intend to keep writing.
Personal Site Updates
To support my photography site, I have been doing a redesign of my site. I'm pretty far along and the number of pages I have left has been shrunk to maybe a half dozen or so. It's coming along.
Cooking
Hunan Chicken
I tried this recipe on Thursday and it turned out fine. It wasn't amazing, but it certainly wasn't inedible. I can't point my finger at what it was missing.
