Week Notes forSeptember 6 - 12 (#115)

With a late Labor Day here in the US, it felt like a short week.

Data Repository Progress

I started a project to start tracking more of my data that would incorporate my media repository, as well as fitness data, home inventory, etc. I finished incorporating my media repository into it and deployed that to my NAS in place of my media repository. I tried to improve a bunch of the frontend code and feel like I've succeeded. There will be a lot of empty pages on the deployed site until I finish the rest, but I wanted to get the improvements up sooner. I'll re-visit it once I finish my site update.

Back to My Site Update

I took a break from my site's redesign to handle the data repository. Now I'm back to focusing on my redesign and it's going well.

Writing

I set a target of 500 words a day this month towards my novel idea. I can say that almost 2 weeks in, I've been successful in keeping up with it. I think it helps that it's a realistic target.
